Introduction to Ayurveda - The Science of Self Healing
with Mark Green

October 4 & 11, 2010

Mondays 9 am - 5 pm

14 hours  ($250)

Each person is a unique individual and has different needs for health and healing. In Ayurveda, an Eastern term meaning self knowing, we learn how our own body/mind constitution can affect every aspect of our life. By understanding our unique physiology, we can adapt patterns of eating (not 'dieting'), sleeping, breathing, stretching and moving to enhance our daily lives.

In this class, we will learn specific techniques for assessing body types, and what each types needs are. Many things, including the eyes, tongue, fingernails, skin, lips, sleep patterns, digestion, thinking etc. all tell a story relating to your health. Adapting massage to the individual, and new strokes are shared in a hands  on portion. A great workshop that is useful to both you and your clients
