Although she formally left her work in social services in 1997, she continues working with infants, parents & families through her partnership with Infant Massage USA. – an ideal blend of her background in child development and her role as a massage therapist.

Suzanne's role in the field of Infant Massage is as an International Educator, Trainer and Humanitarian. Suzanne's comprehensive knowledge base, her passion for this work, her integrative approach, the integrity of her commitment to her students and her energetic presentation is what make her courses and presentation educational, inspiring and fun. She is confident that, together, we can help create more compassionate communities worldwide.

Suzanne's trains clinicians, practitioners and laypersons around the world as parent educators - either adding to and complimenting the student's area of existing work or helping them develop a whole new direction in their service to infants and their families. Suzanne presents at national and international conferences to expand the awareness and knowledge of infant massage as an age-old practice that is scientifically validated as a way to nurture the love our children are born to share. The bells and whistles of infant massage are the list of clinical benefits that can't be ignored. There is so much to get excited about as we learn more about the infant, and the real responsibility we have to pledge that we shall do everything in our power to preserve the love each child is born to share. It's simply what being human is about.

April 2006 marked the release of Suzanne's first book: Baby Massage - Soothing Strokes For Healthy Growth by Viking Press (a division of Penguin). In addition, Suzanne appeared in a 6-page article in People Magazine (Issue: April 24, 2006) - highlighting her humanitarian service to abandoned children in the Republic of Belarus.

Stuart Taws (916) 725-3999
info@healingartsinstitute.com

Stuart Taws is a Sports Rehabilitation Therapist from England. The Soft Tissue Release techniques he teaches have been proven in World-Class athletic competition and in the Pain Clinic environment. They have, over the years, been simplified and distilled so that they are easy to comprehend and apply. And Stuart's public speaking experience lends a lively, fast paced quality to the workshops. They have repeatedly been described as "the best learning experience ever!"

If you subscribe to Massage and Bodywork, you will have had the opportunity, in the Spring 1998 issue, to have read Mr. Taw's compelling article in which he shared the effective treatment of Piriformis syndrome. He has also done extensive writing on the subject of massage and the treatment of fibromyalgia. If you peruse previous issues of Massage and Bodywork you will easily find what others are saying about Mr. Taws and his workshops. In the Winter 1997 issue, the article "What Doctors Don't Want You to Know About Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Tendinitis", details the success that the author, Michael Young, has had in treating such conditions, often with only one or two sessions. He goes on to reveal that he learned how to do so in June of 1996 in one of Mr. Taws' workshops. In the article "In The Treatment of Chronic Fatigue", Houston LeBrun gives special notation to Stuart Taws and his previous articles on CFS and MFS. On pages 121 and 122 you will find Mr. Taws listed in a profile of eight people chosen by the editors of Massage and Bodywork as having made a difference in the somatic profession during the last decade! The fact that Mr. Taws is ranked equally among such honorable names as Dr. Tiffany Field (Touch Research Institute), Ben Benjamin, Ph.D., and others will give an idea of the caliber of this instructor…and this workshop!

Stuart Taws is a Sports Rehabilitation Therapist from Great Britain, and the only instructor of Soft Tissue Release® in the United States. He has worked with the prestigious Santa Monica Track Club and has used STR® with great success on the world's fastest athletes. He is also a Category "A" provider for the National Certification Board.
