Mission Statement
The mission of Healing Arts Institute is to provide a high quality education and training
in massage therapy at a reasonable cost, and to have fun while doing it.
Goals of Healing Arts Institute include:
- To integrate high tech and high touch – using the latest technologies to aid in teaching and in producing teaching materials.
- To give students a solid grounding in anatomy and physiology, so they have a basis for learning and understanding more advanced techniques.
- To help each student discover and enhance their own innate healing abilities.
- To assist students in their own personal healing, so that they may be more effective in working with others.
- To impart a sense of excitement in students for learning.
To encourage students to go beyond the specific techniques they have learned to develop their own creative way of working, based on their understanding of anatomy and of the principles they have learned. - To be a center and resource for the massage therapy community, offering information and assistance to massage therapists, employers, and clients.
- To increase awareness of and access to massage for those that need it most, including infants & children, pregnant women, abuse victims, people with cancer, and people with life threatening illness.
