Welcome to Healing Arts Institute

This certificate program is designed as an integrated immersion program for students to learn by doing. The course is structured for students to gain traditional time tested knowledge of Ayurvedic health care and personal experience so that one can internalize the benefits of Ayurveda. Students will learn the fundamentals of Ayurveda such as its basic principles, psychology, physiology, herbal formulas, pulse reading, daily and seasonal routine, diet and nutrition, detoxification, and rejuvenating body therapies. In addition, students will learn how to cook Ayurvedic food, learn Ayurvedic exercise and breathing (asana and pranayama) and learn how to coach clients in incorporating Ayurveda into their health care plan.

The Spa Module at Healing Arts Institute offers training in authentic and profound body therapy treatments that help to deeply release stress, gain deep relaxation, rejuvenate, detoxify, and achieve a more balanced state of mind. Training in the following natural health treatments are offered in the finest spas through out the world. Healing Arts uses organic body products to enhance client and technician experience.

Healing Arts Institute offers three levels of Massage Certificate Training Programs:
126hr Certified Massage Professional (Module 1)
250hr Certified Massage Practitioner (Module 1 + 2 )
500hr Certified Massage Therapist (Modules 1+2+Electives)

Module 1: $1,250 + ($295 Registration Fee+materials)
Module 2: $1,250 + ($275.76 Registration Fee+materials)

Once you have attained your 250 hour Massage Practitioner Certificate of Completion, you can now choose from over 100 advanced continuing education courses and build a class schedule that best supports your goals in becoming the unique individual therapist you are.

Taught in 4-Extended, 30-hour Weekends in 2012:
- Module 1: May 25 – 27, 2012
- Module 2: June 15 – 17, 2012
- Module 3: July 6 – 8, 2012
- Module 4: July 27 – 29, 2012

Healing Arts Institute is pleased to offer the Acupressure Certification Training in conjunction with the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, CA. The program consists of four extended weekend workshops totaling 120 hours of training.

Acupressure is an ancient healing art developed in Asia over 5,000 years ago. Using the model of meridians, or pathways of energy, acupressure is similar to acupuncture, but uses the gentle, firm pressure of hands (and feet in some techniques).
